1. Introduction and Definitions
This privacy policy outlines our practices relevant to the Site, Services, and Platform, impacting Applicants, Site Visitors, Coaches, Users, and User Organizations. Below are the relevant terms and an overview of our data collection and usage practices.
LeadLyft, powered by TNRM Consulting, is a platform designed to enhance performance and growth for individuals, teams, and organizations through career and leadership development, proactive mental fitness, and inclusion, utilizing behavioral techniques and methods (the “Services”) on our web application and online platform (the “Platform”).
This policy also covers the activities of LeadLyft Wellness Services, Inc.
We distinguish between Users, who receive Services directly via the Platform, and User Organizations, who contract with us to provide Services to their employees or others on the Platform. We handle data differently for Users and User Organizations, although they might sometimes overlap. If you receive LeadLyft Services through your employer or another sponsoring organization, be aware of the data shared back to your User Organization as a result of using the LeadLyft Platform.
We also collect data from business coaches (“Coaches”) who provide services to Users via the Platform and from visitors (“Visitors”) to our website www.LeadLyft.com and its subdomains (the “Site”). If you apply for a job with LeadLyft, you will be known as an “Applicant”.
Personal Data refers to any information associated with an identifiable individual, protected under applicable data protection laws.
2. Data We Collect
2.1 Data You Provide to Us
Data From Our Website
Visitors to our public website, LeadLyft.com and its subdomains, and trusted third parties acting on our behalf, collect certain information. We use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, and ad tags) to collect data (e.g., device IDs) from our Site to recognize you and your device(s) across different services and devices where you have engaged with our Site. We also allow third parties to use cookies as described in the Cookie Policy, including for marketing and advertising campaigns. You can opt out from our use of data from cookies and similar technologies for ad targeting and other purposes. Please review the Cookie Policy for all relevant details.
Data From Applicants
We collect information if you apply for a job (“Applicant”) with LeadLyft. We need to collect certain personal information to process your application, such as your name, email address, phone number, location, and work history. This information is used to evaluate your experience and communicate with you. LeadLyft works with several third-party vendors to assist in the application process. If any of these systems require sensitive personal information or session recordings, you will be notified at that time.
If you are an Applicant based in the European Union, U.K., or California, please review the Applicant Privacy Notice for information about the personal information we collect, how we collect, use, and disclose it, and your rights.
Data From Coaches
If you are a Coach, we collect data when you submit an inquiry to provide coaching services, use the Platform, request technical support, or otherwise initiate communication with us. We never require Coaches to provide sensitive Personal Data (e.g., financial data), although we may request demographic or other personal data for specific programs or research studies. This may include gender, race, ethnicity, specialized skills, or citizenship. Providing such personal information is optional. We may ask for your consent to record coaching sessions for training, research, or additional purposes. BetterUp understands video recordings may capture sensitive personal information; therefore, we minimize the amount of personal data accessed by analyzing recordings after de-identification or conducting analysis on transcripts rather than full videos.
Data From Users
If you are a User, we collect data when you register for the Platform and access Services via the Platform. We require certain Personal Data to register your account, such as:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your role or title
- Your country and state (where applicable)
This data is necessary to create your account, match you with a coach in an appropriate time zone, honor your specific privacy rights, and ensure you receive applicable surveys or questionnaires. If your access to LeadLyft Services is provided by your User Organization, this data may be shared with LeadLyft from your User Organization.
We collect data to provide and improve your experience on the Platform. For example, we may ask Users to:
- Complete surveys to help match you with a Coach that aligns with your coaching goals.
- Complete an assessment for insight into strengths and weaknesses related to general wellbeing, work-life balance, and stress.
- Review your coaching and Platform experience.
- Enter personal preferences within your User or Coach profile, such as preferred pronouns and preferred language.
Both you and your Coach will have access to your matching survey and assessment responses. Your sponsoring User Organization will not receive access to your individual assessment or personalization responses, although they may see aggregate and de-identified reports.
We collect usage data from Users accessing the Platform, including program responses and attendance, session ratings, employment details, and any other usage data shared with us or your User Organization.
Your sponsoring User Organization will receive information from LeadLyft about your Platform usage in the following ways:
- Individually identifiable data regarding your date of registration, number of coaching sessions completed, the date you have completed certain assessments, and similar engagement level metrics.
- Aggregated and de-identified insights for topics and themes discussed by all Users associated with your sponsoring Organization.
